Bye M/I

After nearly ten years of business and success, I have closed M/I Promotions.

M/I started as M/I Café when my co-founders Brandy Jenkins, Phil Dahmer, and I had a big idea to improve networking, unity, entertainment, and promotions in the Christian community of Kansas City.  Becoming M/I Productions, the vision caught like wildfire and expanded far beyond our expectations.

Most recently, M/I Promotions has served the nation as a power-house marketing, media, and communications entity.  It has been a blessing to cultivate the industry of ministry and industry.  M/I was one of the greatest things that could have ever happened to me.  I am most grateful for the ability to serve God’s people and the life-long relationships I continue to cherish.

My current focus…

Family

I am married to an amazing gift from God who has given me four wonderful children.  My focus is on being a life-partner and provider to Latrese.  My long nights of social media posts and creating marketing plans for the elect will be traded for a commitment to cuddling, words of affirmation, and caring conversations.  If I am not at the next big networking event, musical or conference, I may be helping Elijah with homework, finding worms in the backyard with Jeremiah, writing songs with Joshua or having an imaginary tea party with Triniti.  Daddy will be active and present; and loving every moment.

Mentoring

Owning businesses has awarded me mounds of experiences and relationships.  M/I was built upon favor and favors.  Now is the time to pay it all forward.  If someone needs honest advice, coaching through life’s tough times, or bear hugs full of love; I am here.  Too often we suffer from loneliness and feelings of isolation but I am available to be a true friend and helpful support system.  Put me to the test.

Ministry

I can never say goodbye to my calling and commitment to God and serving His people.  I am His disciple.  I am forever dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel though music, the preached word, or acts of service.  I am on an accelerated path towards graduation from seminary.  And daily God endows me with fresh ideas and inspiration to lift Him and draw people to Christ.

Finally…

Last year I served an amazing contract with the Kauffman Foundation.  After which, I have decided to reenter cooperate America.  I am currently working for an amazing company to transform their marketing and culture.  Entrepreneurship was hard and often times a major sacrifice for my family.  I am comfortable with my decision and know that God is totally in control of every step I make.

Today my passion is the manifestation of God – demonstrating His power and purpose.  Special thanks to my wife, my mother, and my friends.  Bye M/I.
