The American Jazz Museum is celebrating the grand opening of Women in Jazz: An Exhibition Showcasing Women Jazz Artists from Kansas City & Beyond. The exhibit launches with a free reception on Friday, March 5, 2010. From 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. there will be a free jazz concert, hors ‘d oeuvres and tours.
The American Jazz Museum is at 1616 E. 18th Street in the Historic 18th & Vine Jazz District in Kansas City, Missouri.
